The expert panels are made up of experts from the banking industry, the German Banking Industry Committee, the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and the Deutsche Bundesbank. Their members come together to discuss issues and draw up proposals relating to the practical implementation of rules and regulations in banking supervision.
