Legal basis
With regard to the submission and administration of credit claims, the following conditions and regulations for participation in MACCs need to be recognized.
Terms and conditions and procedural rules
- The General Terms and Conditions of the Deutsche Bundesbank govern the basic legal relationships between the Deutsche Bundesbank and its counterparties.
- The General Terms and Conditions for the Deutsche Bundesbank ExtraNet form the basic framework for using ExtraNet.
- The Special Terms and Conditions for submitting credit claims as collateral (MACCs Terms and Conditions) govern the details for MACCs and the supplements to the General Terms and Conditions for ExtraNet.
- The Special Terms and Conditions for assessing the credit quality of assets that are not published by the ECB in the list of eligible marketable assets pursuant to Section V No 3(1) of the General Terms and Conditions of the Deutsche Bundesbank (Credit quality conditions) govern the credit quality assessment of the credit claims.
Terms and conditions for cross-border use
The Special Terms and Conditions of the respective correspondent central bank within the framework of cross-border use govern the respective procedures between the Deutsche Bundesbank, the correspondent central bank and the counterparties.
