Bundesbank NExt

NExt New ExtraNet

Important notes

  • NExt is used for uploading XML files and for communication and is the prerequisite for using the new AMS.
    Allgemeines Meldeportal Statistik

  • Use AMS to upload CSV files and enter data via mask.

Please note:

  • Registration in NExt and the existence of the business topic “Report submission” are the prerequisites for using the new AMS.

  • The PDF receipts are not currently being created. These are automatically regenerated soon.

Continue to use the existing ExtraNet/AMS when submitting the following reports:

  • DIREK reports (formerly K3/K4).

The external sector is divided into two business areas in NExt:

  • External sector reporting systems – Banks (AWB)
  • External sector reporting systems – Nonbanks / Individuals (AWN).

The business areas are broken down into other business topics.

NExt – Business areas and business topics for the external sector

The Deutsche Bundesbank will take care of setting up user managers and extending the authorizations of existing user managers for the “AWB” work area. Please send the completed forms for appointing user managers to ms@bundesbank.de.

Next has a simplified registration procedure for the “AWN” business area. Activation is now possible. Please have your reporting number ready and note the order in which the user registers. The first two users are automatically registered as user managers. After successful registration, they can invite or unlock additional users.

If you are already a NExt user in other business areas, please take advantage of the opportunity to independently expand your access. Users can make changes in the profile via the “Permissions” menu.

Note Third-party submittion rights

If you use the AMS to submit external sector reports, it is not mandatory to set up third-party submission rights in NExt. The third-party submission rights from the existing AMS will continue to be available in the new AMS.

If you submit reports for another reporting agent (e.g. tax advisers, lawyers, etc. for clients or groups for individual companies), you must first register for your own enterprise. The third-party submission rights for clients can then be applied for.
