Test analyst in digital euro functional certification management
Valuable work: your role with us
- In the Directorate General Digital Euro (D€), you will be a member of an international test analysis team.
- In preparation for the Eurosystem’s retail digital euro project, you will define requirements and interfaces with other teams and contribute to conceptual frameworks for conducting the testing activities.
- Over the course of the project, you will analyse the Eurosystem’s extensive user requirements and use these to develop test cases, test data requirements and test plans, for example.
- You will perform a quality assurance function and evaluate the results of the testing.
- You will also be supporting the ECB’s overarching testing activities.
Unique assets: your skills and qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in a field relevant to the position (e.g. economics, business informatics)
- Very good knowledge of software testing and in the field of test analysis
- Good knowledge of the use of test tools for test management
- Familiarity with the digital euro and/or the payments environment
- Good knowledge of project management and the application of agile tools and methods
- ISTQB certification
- Good knowledge of JIRA and Confluence would be advantageous
- Intercultural skills, the ability to organise work tasks independently, and strong communication and negotiation skills
- Very good communication skills in German and English

Remuneration and prospects
Remuneration that corresponds to pay grade E 13 of the wage agreement for the public sector (Tarifvertrag für den öffentlichen Dienst– TVöD) plus a bank allowance (together approximately €66,600 to €95,500, depending on your experience), bonuses for exceptional performance, future-oriented public sector job offering reliable working conditions, international working environment, varied tasks, opportunity to gain civil servant status or maintain existing civil servant status (up to A 15), chance to participate in national and international exchanges
