CIC Newsletter September 2020 International Central Bank Dialogue
17.09.2020
Dear subscriber,
The pandemic has completely shaken up the world of international central bank dialogue. Thanks, not least, to the stable global network that we have built up over the past thirty years with numerous central banks and supervisory authorities around the world, we have been able to react very quickly to the rapid developments and put our work on a new footing.
Our work is currently focused on our online courses, an area which we are continuously expanding. We aim to cover all topics relating to central banking and thus facilitate demand-led central bank dialogue around the world, even in times like these. We would welcome any ideas and suggestions for topics that you or your colleagues may have.
In recent months, we were lucky that the closing event for the EU twinning project “Support to regulation of financial services” with Montenegro could still take place on site. If the pandemic permits, we plan to continue using such windows of opportunity in order to get back to face-to-face discussions.
