The so-called Blessing letter, dated 30 March 1967, forms part of the correspondence between the President of the Deutsche Bundesbank at the time, Karl Blessing, and the then Chairman of the Board of Governors of the US Federal Reserve System, William Martin. Blessing addresses US concerns that the Bundesbank might convert US dollars into gold on a massive scale.

SEPA payments are processed on the basis of the respective current versions of the European Payments Council documentation (Rulebooks und Implementation Guidelines).

SEPA credit transfers have been available for processing both domestic and cross-border European payments since 28 January 2008. In order to use this procedure, a payment service provider must first sign the corresponding European Payments Council (EPC) adherence agreement and convert its systems to process SEPA payments.

Das Brutto-Emissionsvolumen am deutschen Rentenmarkt lag im März 2022 mit 162,5 Mrd € deutlich über dem Niveau des Vormonats (127,6 Mrd €).
