The Financial Stability Forum at the Bundesbank
The Financial Stability Forum provides a stage for the regular exchange of views on current developments in financial stability in Germany and the rest of Europe between the Deutsche Bundesbank and various panels of academics and market experts. The objectives are to identify new risks early on, promote a deeper understanding of those risks that have already been identified and discuss existing analytical methods. Meetings are scheduled to take place twice a year.
Chairperson
The meetings of the Financial Stability Forum are chaired by Professor Claudia Buch, the Deputy President of the Deutsche Bundesbank.
Participants
The meetings of the Financial Stability Forum are attended by Deputy President Claudia Buch, other interested members of the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank, and external academics and market experts.
As a rule, participation at these high-level meetings is restricted to 15 persons at most.

Other individuals – usually staff from the Bundesbank or other authorities – may attend the discussions by invitation. - Confidentiality
The meetings are held under the Chatham House rule, meaning that although participants are free to use the information disclosed, neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speakers, nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.
