On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the first issuance of euro cash, the Bundesbank hosted a high-level anniversary ceremony on 9 November 2022 in Berlin.

Participants from politics, business sectors, public administration and other stakeholders received insights and suggestions in speeches and a panel discussion on current developments in the area of cash, supplemented by selected impulse speeches. At the end of the event, an evening reception offered the opportunity to exchange viewpoints and expertise.
