The consultation of the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank pursuant to Section 7(3) of the Bundesbank Act regarding the nomination of Professor Claudia Buch for a second term of office as Vice-President of the Deutsche Bundesbank took place on Thursday.

The Executive Board did not raise any objections and is looking forward to continuing to work together with Professor Buch. The outcome of the consultation has been communicated to the Federal Government.

Professor Claudia Buch has been a member of the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank since May 2014 and is responsible for Directorates General Financial Stability, Statistics and Audit.
