Thomas Notheis is Senior Advisor at the Centre for International Central Bank Dialogue at the Deutsche Bundesbank, which he joined in March 2020.

Prior to his current position, he was the Resident Twinning Advisor in a Twinning Project with the National Bank of Serbia. During the course of more than 20 years at the Bundesbank, he served as the Bundesbank Representative in China, India and at the German OECD delegation in Paris. He also worked as analyst in the international relations department and as medium-term expert at the Turkish treasury in Ankara.

Thomas joined the Deutsche Bundesbank in 1996. He obtained his Master’s in economics from the University of Tuebingen.
