Deutsche Bundesbank invites European central banks and financial supervisory authorities to participate in various trainings.

ESCB- and Open Training Activities

Deutsche Bundesbank takes part in providing international seminars for ESCB members known as "ESCB Training Activities (ESCB TAs)". Several seminars per year are organised by different central banks on a rotating basis. In addition, Deutsche Bundesbank also conducts "Open Training Activities (OTAs)" These seminars are developed and organised by individual central banks or in cooperation within the ESCB. The trainings are held in English and are open to staff from the ESCB.

Central Banking Workshop

Once a year, Deutsche Bundesbank organises in cooperation with a university a four-day training course on a current topic. It aims at bringing together international Central Bank knowledge with academic research and thinking.

European Supervisor Education Initiative

The European Supervisor Education Initiative (ESE) is an association of European central banks, supervisory institutions and academic institutions with the aim of further educating European financial supervisors.
