Germany’s current account recorded a surplus of only €0.6 billion in August 2022, down €4.8 billion on the previous month’s level. This was due to a decrease in the goods account surplus. The deficit on invisible current transactions, which comprise services as well as primary and secondary income, changed only slightly.

Der Überschuss in der Leistungsbilanz des Euro-Währungsgebiets belief sich in den vier Quartalen bis zum dritten Quartal 2019 auf 338 Mrd € (2,9 % des BIP im Euroraum), verglichen mit einem Überschuss in Höhe von 377 Mrd € (3,3 % des BIP im Eurogebiet) im entsprechenden Vorjahrszeitraum.

Im August 2019 wies die Leistungsbilanz des Euro-Währungsgebiets einen Überschuss von 27 Mrd € auf (nach einem Überschuss von 22 Mrd € im Vormonat).

Im Oktober 2019 wies die Leistungsbilanz des Euro-Währungsgebiets einen Überschuss von 32 Mrd € auf (nach 28 Mrd € im Vormonat).

Germany’s current account posted a surplus of €5.0 billion in July 2022, down €9.3 billion on the previous month’s level. This was primarily caused by the shift into a deficit in invisible current transactions, which comprise services as well as primary and secondary income. There was also a smaller surplus in goods trading.

Im Mai 2019 wies die Leistungsbilanz des Euro-Währungsgebiets einen Überschuss von 30 Mrd € auf (nach einem Überschuss von 22 Mrd € im Vormonat).

Die Leistungsbilanz des Euro-Währungsgebiets wies in den vier Quartalen bis zum zweiten Quartal 2019 einen Überschuss in Höhe von 311 Mrd € (2,7 % des BIP im Euroraum) auf, verglichen mit 410 Mrd € (3,6 % des BIP im Eurogebiet) im entsprechenden Vorjahrszeitraum.
