Macroprudential supervision lacks robust, timely and systematic data on the credit standards for mortgages granted to households. These data are vital for identifying risks to financial stability in good time. Following the entry into force of a statutory order in February 2021, the Bundesbank is now planning a data collection exercise aimed at closing these data gaps.

Nach Beratung mit dem Aufsichtsgremium hat der Rat der Europäischen Zentralbank (EZB) heute Claudia Buch als künftige Vorsitzende des Aufsichtsgremiums für eine nicht verlängerbare fünfjährige Amtszeit vorgeschlagen. Frau Buch ist derzeit Vizepräsidentin der Deutschen Bundesbank.

Die Gesamtaktiva der Pensionseinrichtungen im Euroraum beliefen sich im zweiten Quartal 2023 auf 3 242 Mrd. € und sind damit gegenüber dem ersten Quartal 2023 um 31 Mrd. € gestiegen. Der Bruttoabsatz am deutschen Rentenmarkt lag im Juli 2023 mit 120,5 Mrd € unter dem Wert des Vormonats (168,7 Mrd €). Nach Berücksichtigung der Tilgungen und der Eigenbestandsveränderungen der Emittenten nahm der Umlauf inländischer Rentenpapiere um 28,0 Mrd € zu (Juni: 22,9 Mrd €).
