CIC Newsletter – March 2024 International Central Bank Dialogue (CIC)
13.03.2024
Dear subscriber,
The beginning of 2024 has brought with it a lot of news.
François Villeroy de Galhau and Joachim Nagel officially launched the new EU-funded pilot project with African central banks in Paris. Cooperation was resumed with the Central Bank of the Philippines and a new Memorandum of Understanding was signed.
Madrid hosted the first Forum Bundesbank, which was focused on the current economic challenges facing Europe and attracted a plethora of guests from the financial sector. A series of seminars was held for the first time in Rabat as part of the bilateral central bank dialogue with the Central Bank of Morocco. Our international central banking courses now feature two new series, “Greening the financial system” and “Digital currencies”, which are already open for registration.
We would also like to introduce you to new members in our ranks. Nikola Marcinko is our first ever representative in the Baltic States, Marie-Therese Gold has taken over as head of our Representative Office in Brussels and Ezgi Delikanli is our new representative in London. Our Frankfurt team has been bolstered by the addition of Andreas Gauf and Philipp Täufer.
