The National Cash Forum facilitates the ongoing and open exchange of information on cash issues between the relevant stakeholders in the cash cycle in Germany. Its objectives are to promote more intensive cooperation between the various parties involved, to pool the interests of stakeholders and to prepare initiatives to improve and stabilise the cash cycle. By participating in the National Cash Forum, cash cycle stakeholders are sending out a clear signal in support of cash.

The launch event took place in Berlin on 16 February 2024. It served as an introduction and provided technical guidance, laying the groundwork for the future exchange of information. The National Cash Forum is expected to meet up to twice a year. Working groups will provide the technical basis for the forum’s work.
