The Bundesbank's PKI generates updated CRLs at regular intervals.

An updated list is issued seven days prior to the expiry date of the current CRL. Bundesbank Root CAs’ CRLs are issued with a validity period of six months; sub CA CRLs are valid for thirty days. An updated CRL is generated and issued straight away in the case that a certificate is revoked prior to it expiring.

Certificate Revocation Lists
