Valuable work: your role with us

  • You will be the specialist lead of an agile team designing our hybrid cloud environment and will be responsible for the strategic refinement, identification and development of new solutions, specifically
  • in the core pipeline team: the basic services around cloud development for the CI/CD pipeline using the existing technical products (GitLab, Terraform, ArgoCD);
  • in the development workstation team: the basic services around cloud development for the hybrid development workstation and associated development tools (e.g. Visual Studio Code, JetBrains, HashiCorp Vault);
  • in the brokerage team of the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE): standardisation, management and support of cloud use as well as definition and further development of cloud-related processes and interfaces (end-to-end).
  • You will design a product vision, derive a strategic product service plan, and manage the product backlog (refinement, prioritisation, and communication).
  • You will keep tabs on products available in the market, reviewing them for relevance and possible uses at the Bundesbank on an ongoing basis.
  • In doing so, you will liaise with internal and external experts at the national and international level.

Unique assets: your skills and qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in a field relevant to the position (e.g. (business) information technology, mathematics)
  • Very good knowledge of current cloud technologies and their development, especially in the fields of CI/CD pipelines, the development workstation and cloud service management 
  • Interdisciplinary understanding of problems at business unit level and their translation into IT solutions
  • Very good knowledge of business architecture design (requirements management, quality management, business process development) 
  • Comprehensive understanding of components and interdependencies of an IT landscape (IT architecture, platforms, solutions, processes), especially in cloud computing (private, hybrid, public)
  • Agile mindset
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills 
  • Ability to design and further develop services
  • Ability to prepare information tailored to stakeholders from different areas and with different levels of competence
  • Reliable and professional conduct 
  • Good command of written and spoken German and English

Remuneration and prospects
