When and where will the Bundesbank’s Open Day 2024 take place?

Saturday, 14 September, and Sunday, 15 September 2024, from 11:00 to 18:00.
The event will take place on the premises of the Bundesbank’s Regional Office in Hesse, Taunusanlage 5 in Frankfurt’s city centre.

What should be observed for admission?

Access to the grounds is via the main entrance at Taunusanlage. Please bring a valid photo ID and do not carry large bags.
Bags can be left in a luggage tent.

What about accessibility?

As the event is intended to appeal to many visitors, accessibility is important to us.
Various programme items such as the virtual reality cinema, the information tents and the gold room are accessible without barriers. In addition, a sign language interpreter will be present at some stage interviews.

Will the event take place in bad weather?

For the open air programme items, we naturally hope the weather will be good. In the event of heavy rain or storms, the outdoor programme may be curtailed. The indoor programme items such as the gold room or the virtual reality cinema will take place whatever the weather.

Are there parking facilities on site?

No, there aren’t. The Regional Office in Hesse is located centrally in Frankfurt’s city centre and can be reached quickly and easily from all directions via the stations Taunusanlage, Willy-Brandt-Platz or the central station (Hauptbahnhof). We therefore kindly ask you to use public transport.
