Visit the Deutsche Bundesbank stand at the Frankfurt Book Fair

As in previous years, the Bundesbank will be taking part in this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair, which will be held from 11 to 15 October.

The Bundesbank stand will organise a programme of activities every day of the Fair. For example, our experts will be explaining a simple method of spotting counterfeit banknotes. To mark the Bundesbank’s 60th anniversary, we will be showing films focusing on 60 years in the history of money. On Saturday and Sunday, we’ll be inviting children between 8 and 12 years to take part in a competition to test their knowledge of money. Some great prizes are on offer!

A major highlight will be the award of prizes to the winners of our video competition on Saturday at 15.00.  We asked the next generation of filmmakers: "What does stability mean for you?" They will be presenting their answers at our stand.

At certain times, anyone wishing to know more about the Bundesbank’s mission can get a free copy of "Die Deutsche Bundesbank. Notenbank für Deutschland", a comprehensive history of the Bundesbank. Anyone who misses the opportunity will be able to order their free copy at the stand.
