Bundesbank presents open-air exhibition in Hamburg

The Bundesbank’s open-air exhibition on German monetary Union will be on show from 6 to 28 March 2021 in Hamburg.

Due to current health and hygiene regulations, the exhibits will be displayed in a glass cube that can be viewed from the outside. Visitors will first embark on a journey back in time to 1989, from where they will take an informative look at the history of the single German currency. A short film evokes events back then. Original exhibits will also be on display to illustrate former working methods at the Bundesbank. Visitors will have the opportunity to take part in a quiz to win one of 20 popular collector coins.

The exhibition cube is located at Willy-Brandt-Straße 73, right next to the Bundesbank's Regional Office there. The exhibition cube was already on display in October 2020 at the EinheitsEXPO in Potsdam, in which numerous institutions participated.
