Survey on the expectations of firms in Germany
The coronavirus pandemic is causing historically exceptional economic developments. How has this changed the economic position of German enterprises, and how is it affecting employment? And what expectations do enterprises have going forward? Answers to these and similar questions help the Deutsche Bundesbank to fulfil its statutory tasks.
In a survey, the Deutsche Bundesbank is therefore asking a representative selection of firms about their situation, assessments and expectations. The data from the survey will be used to fulfil its statutory tasks.
The survey and the questionnaire were designed and prepared by the Deutsche Bundesbank’s Research Centre. Answering the questions will take approximately 15 minutes. Given the dynamic situation, this information is currently being collected at relatively short intervals.
The responses to the questions are only evaluated in effectively anonymised form. The results do not allow any inferences to be made about which enterprise has provided which data (absolute anonymity).
