CIC Newsletter February 2021 Centre for International Central Bank Dialogue (CIC)
10.02.2021
Dear subscriber,
The Bundesbank has been one of the world’s leading players in central bank cooperation for 30 years now. We would have liked to have held a fitting celebration to mark this anniversary together with our associates and partner institutions. Even though this is not possible due to the coronavirus pandemic, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have placed their trust in us over the years for their excellent and reliable cooperation throughout.
Cooperation and exchanges between central banks and supervisory authorities around the world continue to make an important contribution to international monetary and financial stability. Learning with one another and from one another is becoming increasingly important in the light of the global challenges that we are all currently facing.
In the coming year, our renewed aim is not only to provide the framework for the discussion process but also to continue to contribute to this process by leveraging the expertise and experience of the entire Bundesbank.
We look forward to a continuation of our fruitful exchange and many interesting encounters in 2021!
