Objective

Participants will gain an overview of cash-related IT solutions and issues surrounding project management. They will also have the opportunity to consider questions concerning the use of standard software. The focus will be on the benefits and costs of serial number reading as an example of a typical project. In addition, the seminar will also provide a convenient forum for central bankers from across the world to exchange their initial expert views.

Target group

This course is aimed at those new to roles in a central bank’s cash or IT department who would like to start out by gaining an overview of the field, through to more experienced experts and project managers wishing to expand their knowledge and learn about the Bundesbank’s approach.
