The design concept comprises eight new buildings, including a high-rise with 20 storeys. This is situated on the south side just to the rear of the main building, towering over it by some 25 metres. Three atrium buildings, each with five storeys, are located to the north and south of the main building. In the north-west corner there is a mobility building with two underground and seven overground storeys, accessible from Wilhelm-Epstein-Strasse. To the north of the Cash Management building there is a single-storey press pavilion and the four-storey logistics centre. Also to the north, on Wilhelm-Epstein-Strasse, are guest apartments, a day care centre and sports facilities in two- or three-storey structures. The central visual axis to the main building features a covered promenade for pedestrians and cyclists, which also serves as an architectural link between the individual buildings. At the present underground car park 1, a concourse connects all buildings and offers space for informal meetings and communication on the level below ground.
