Impressed with the inclusive and progressiv culture Hochschulpraktika (in englischer Sprache)

Hello I'm Victor and I’m currently doing an internship in the Macroprudential surveillance of the banking system department at Deutsche Bundesbank.

My journey with Bundesbank, a six-month period I've already found incredibly rewarding. I first learned about the Bundesbank during my studies at the university and found myself drawn to explore more on their Career website.

During my internship, I've been entrusted with a variety of data-driven tasks. From handling security financial transactions and conducting data analyses to writing comprehensive reports, I've been able to apply and expand upon the knowledge I gained while writing my Master's thesis on similar topics.

Bundesbank, as an employer, has impressed me with its inclusive and progressive culture. The team is open to new ideas and interns like myself are well-integrated into the team dynamic. It's a space that encourages growth and innovation, qualities I deeply appreciate.

One aspect of my internship that has pleasantly surprised me is the level of specialization my role requires. I've been able to not only observe but also contribute to impactful projects, which is an empowering experience.

What I find particularly enjoyable about my internship is the unique insight into the financial market that it provides. As an economics student, having this perspective is invaluable and something I believe would be hard to come by in the private sector.
